BEACHES IN LA GRACIOSA
‘LA LAJA’ BEACH
Lenght: 100m
Once in the village of Caleta de Sebo, you will find the small beach of La Laja. In its white sand it is common to see sailors and fishermen repairing or painting their traditional boats, also families enjoying the good weather on its shore.
‘SALADO’ BEACH
Lenght: 1.800m
El Salado in the nearest beach to Caleta de Sebo. The Risco de Famara still offers a truly spectacular view. River waters reach the sea shore and the white sand seems to never be finished between dunes and small paths.
When the tide rises, the beach is flooded forming a spectacular lagoon.
‘LA FRANCESA’ BEACHES
Lenght: 435m
If you go from the port to Yellow Mountain, after Playa del Salado we find the extensive and idyllic beach. The beach is one of the best in the south coast. Surrounded by a beautiful rural area and completely isolated, its sand and spectacular waters are of outstanding quality. Its 435 meters long are divided into two strips of beach for a very low natural stone dam.
‘LA COCINA’ BEACH
Lenght: 100m
In the midst of a rustic and secluded environment of La Graciosa, at the foot of the multicolored Yellow Mountain, which is so named due to yellowing of the calcareous materials that compose it, is this 100 meters beach of fine white sand. A dream location, flanked by this original mountains, turquoise and calm water at the other side, with its spectacular Lanzarote Risco de Famara.
‘LAS CONCHAS’ BEACH
Lenght: 610m
Located north of the island and flanked by the imposing Mountain Bermeja, it is an idyllic place from which to see very clearly Montaña Clara, Alegranza and East and West Roques. The contrast of colors is impressive, golden sand, turquoise water with lots of blue hues, crisp white foam, red mountain like fire in timid green vegetation, a wall of shiny black rocks all under a clean blue sky and illuminated by an omnipresent sun.
Caleta de Sebo
A set of white houses and sandy streets is the picture that provides the capital of.
the most eastern island of the Canary Islands.
La Graciosa is located near one of the fishing world’s richest banks. The port of Caleta del Sebo is the only one on the island and where you can find us.
The traveller
After seeing from the shore of Risco de Famara the blonder of the Chinijo Archipelago, we can´t wait to visit its golden beaches, its placid white houses and its turquoise waters.
This island is for special travelers, sensitive, who enjoy nature, beauty, and of course the sun and secluded beaches.
